Biography Interviews

Have you ever sat down and looked at
pictures of your relatives and wondered who they were?
If you are fortunate enough to have photographs of your
great, great grandparents, you may know what they look like,
and even how they were related, but you don’t know who they
were as people. Maybe you did have a great uncle that
knew all the family stories and how everyone in these
pictures were related, but he is long since gone. As
seen so many times, if nothing was recorded,
the family history died with that relative
or with those pictures.
However, now with advanced technology, we
are at the first time in history where we can leave a part
of ourselves behind for future generations to know us.
Your great, great, great grandchildren may never get to meet
you in person, but with a biography video, they can see you,
know who you are, what your likes and dislikes are, what
life has taught you, or what you have experienced.
They can see you grow up in front of their eyes and know
what you looked and sounded like. They can get to know
you-not just a picture of you.

If you live
outside of the area but would like to have a biography
interview added to your video, contact us for instructions on
how you can do this yourself and add this to your
video.
A biography
video, or a video or audio interview, could easily be combined
with some family history research, providing
future generations with the results of your family
tree research about your
forebears - your parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles,
and grandparents, along with a photo video of any
photographs or film clips that you might have of them. Many
of the older generation are doing such research, so that
their children and grandchildren know about their
grandparents' lives, and those of their grandparents'
parents, siblings, and grandparents.
