Tears of Joy Video was borne out of friendship and love for family. There were 3 friends who were blessed with gifts of creativity and other natural artistic talents.

A few years ago, the father of two of them, Juli and Cathie Dodd, was in the hospital. They were looking for ways to brighten up his stay and give him hope. So they asked him what would really make him feel better. He replied he would really love a video biography of his life. So a promise was made and the following months were spent gathering photos and video, interviewing friends and finally editing the final project. A party was planned for the viewing of the special movie. It was met by rave reviews, the “Dad” was overjoyed and a new business venture was inspired.

Meanwhile, the third member, Julie Wilkerson, of this group was experiencing her own challenges. To cope with many personal difficulties, she and her husband found an outlet in creating beautiful video montages for their own family and friends.
